( About )
Hi, I'm Joo. I work quietly.

I'm a photographer and filmmaker based in Toronto, working with brands, couples, event teams and families across the GTA and beyond.
I picked up a camera in 2015 and started filming a year later. Since then I've covered more than a hundred events, shot campaigns for DoorDash and independent Toronto businesses, and photographed weddings, portraits and families.
I'm introverted by nature, and it turns out that's useful behind a camera. I don't direct much. I watch, wait and let people forget I'm there — which is usually when the real pictures happen.

Listen
A short call or a few emails about what you need, who it's for and where it will live. You'll get a clear written quote within two business days.

Plan
Locations, timings, people and a shot list we both agree on. A 30% deposit holds your date, and I leave room for the moments nobody planned.
- 03 / 04On the day
Shoot
Calm and low-key, with natural light wherever I can. I watch more than I direct, so people relax and look like themselves.
- 04 / 04Within 2 weeks
Deliver
Edited photos within two weeks (most events in 72 hours) and films within four to six. Weddings get a sneak peek within a week. One round of revisions is included.

The kit, for the curious
